| "Gracious words are a honey-comb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones." - Proverbs 16:24. |
Your words have the power to create or destroy, inspire or discourage, produce fruit or poison.
Everyday I choose to speak positive words over my life, even if I can't see the good in tough situations because I know eventually the words I speak will bear life.
In my personal journal, I have been writing who I am in Christ. I encourage you to do the same. What are your dreams? Write them down and start declaring that you are what you want to be.
If there is something in your life you want to change, start by first changing your attitude and words about that situation. If you want to do better in school start declaring, "I am a model student. I work hard in all my assignments. I will earn my degree." You will see the change those words will have in you.
So, here are some of my declarations I speak over my life. And even though I know I mess up all the time, I know God is quick to forgive me each time. Therefore, everyday I do my very best to be the person God has called me to be. His grace is sufficient. It's only because of His love for me that I am who I am today. I know I still have a long way to go.
